Stained signs are stained on the front only, the back may have stain residue but is not finished like the front, if you need both sides stained nicely please request that in the notes at checkout.
White, and lighter colors do not fully cover sides, only the top of the lettering is painted, but the sides will show some coloring with the lighter colors, this is unavoidable but not noticeable at all once hung.
